Introduction
- The Tibetian Lynx is also known as "Chiru" in Ladakhi Language.
- Himalayan Lynx is the sub species of Eurasian Lynx.
Physical Characteristics
- They have long, prominent black ear tufts, short black tripped tails.
- The coat is varied in grey, rusty or yellow fur. There are three main coat patterns: spotted, striped and solid.
- They have round face and triangle ears.
- The paws are large and fur covered.
- Their length is about 70-130 cm.Males are usually larger and heavier than females.
- Their weight is about 18-26 kg.
